Last weekend we made our annual trip with my sister's family to Kingma's Christmas tree farm in Demotte, Indiana. It was a really cold and rainy day.. not as cold as it is this week, but cold enough for me!

Once we arrived at the farm, we hopped on the hay ride to take us out to the field. Usually we find "the tree" right away but not this year... I think it was Murphy's law again.... have freezing rain = will not find tree quickly! So we wandered through the field in search of the perfect tree. Actually perfect is not correct... we just wanted a tree with a straight trunk and no bare spots. Well, after an eternity of wandering Brian found "the tree".
